Spain - Andalusian Sky and Medditarean Sea

Spain is beautiful! A week there and I already knew that I would visit the country again. The weather and the roads are perfect for a road trip, even on a motorbike. I was able to explore this country, thanks to a cousin's destination wedding.

We visited Marbella, Malaga and Barcelona - the vast stretch on the East coast of Spain. And the North and South were completely different from eaxh other. The Catalonian roots in Barcelona and the fact that it is a major city, make it different from the quietness of Marbella and the old historic culture of Malaga.

The water was cold so we couldn't go swimming but it was amazing to walk in the Sun and feel the warmth - completely different experience from the rainy and windy cold Belfast. Out of all the three cities, I find Marbella the most liveable and lovable. Maybe because I got enough time to explore the town, walk the famous Golden Mile, explore the rich part of Marbella, go on a yacht and enjoy an amazing quiet dinner at a 2-star Michelin restaurant - Skina.

After I landed at the airport in Malaga and was on a bus to Marbella, the first thing I noticed was the trees. They reminded me of Socotra - an island off the coast of Yemen. I have only seen photos of the island and wish to visit it some day but the trees in Malaga reminded me of it.

We had a bit of a adventure after the wedding in Malaga. Our flight by Vueling to Barcelona was initially delayed and then finally cancelled.
