Going by my husband's request to write travel blogs with a very sympathetic face, I have got this urge to pen down some thoughts.
All that I feel, read and speak. Trying to condense some of the toughest life lessons into simple words. Relieving the magic of written expression and making peace with my mind.

Deep as this night darkens
Deep as this night darkens,
My thoughts plunge within my mind.
In the quietness of the moment,
true thoughts are born.
I struggle to write my travels,
but verses come easy to me.
Verses are my companion
For the lonely days and nights.
They keep me safe from the beast of empty (negative) thoughts
They hold my hand and take me to a world far away from
Imaginary sounds and images.
No blackness of thoughts can touch me when you are with me.
The other world is far away from here.
This is me speaking to my inner core
My mind is pouring its thoughts on a bright screen.
A screen that will soon transfer my thoughts to the wider world.
And strike a chord somewhere with someone, one day I hope.
As I lay in my bed
Deep in my thoughts
I'm forced to close my eyes
To gather my stream of consciousness.
I see the tricks you play.
I'm lulled to sleep
Yet i wake up on the edge
Only to dive in again.

Perfect Storm
Nothing is working out,
Everything is fine
The world is going fine
But nothing is working out.
The surface is calm
And I'm strong
But nothing is right
It's a perfect storm.
Waiting for the wheels to move,
To kick me out of this storm.
Calm me down,
Don't let the perfect storm ruin me.

A room full of strangers
A room full of strangers,
that it was meant to be.
A room full of strangers,
I knew but didn't see.
Known and unknown,
merged together,
Like two buttered toasts.
Spoken and unspoken,
Words didn't matter.
It's a room full of strangers,
With 50 shades of black.
Nothing hurts, nothing left to see.
Night is getting dark and off I must be
Because it is a room full of strangers
And there is nothing more to see.

Child
You say a child was better,
The adult is not yours to be.
Well ofcourse father,
Why will he?
A child can't speak nor protest.
Meekly agrees to everything said.
Ofcourse a child is better,
A pliable, blendable playdoh.
With nothing to know,
Nothing to see.
But for your eyes and your words
Taken to heed.
Ofcourse a child is better,
Sunset and sunrise begin with you
For he doesn't know any other.
Life begins at 40,
For a child is not to be.

The powerful hand
You shall be remembered as the King.
Die with a Pyramid to guard you,
to be remembered for centuries.
There lived a cruel King,
a man of unimaginable wealth
Gold gilded castle with its Baroque magnificent door.
A lone man and his robot hand,
the invention of a rich man
to fight his enemies off
or scare the innocent into pliancy.
I shall turn to ashes to dust to ashes
but rest in peace forever shall I,
for you will be exhumed one day,
like the cursed Tutankhamun.

Escape
War has given me the escape
Escape from my dreary self.
Escape from this life
Dystopian novelty wrecks the brain.
Built broken castles of a wreckage.
Of a future unknown but dark,
Dark as the fear we feel today.
Fear of the black smoke and
Guns and machines.
Of air raids and the third war.
Of lost innocence and smile,
A child was born,
Five weeks old.
Cried for life,
Shrieked for comfort.
Was silenced and put to rest.
A child born into freedom,
Was chained to the shackles of death.
Spit on you,
The world is closing in.
Your paranoia is the reality now.
No end to this road,
Jump off the cliff or surrender.
You shall fade away,
Forgotten in the annals of history.
As we fight for the last breath of freedom,
Of fearless living and dominance.
You took the smile away,
You shall fade away.

Dance of Death
Enjoy the dance of death
While the world morbidly watches
The black cloud rise up.
The smoke, the wind will
Take it to the West.
Entering our lungs, this black cloud
Shall be our death.
The curtain is ferrous and red,
And we shall all enjoy the dance of death.
It's inching closer to you,
Oh sickle and hammer.
U shall be painted red,
The world will finally watch,
Your dance of death.
You drive the SUV full throttle,
Till the end of the road.
Without a care, you shall meet your end.
As the blood drops on the Black sea
The tide shall rise and you will drown in it
The world shall watch
Your dance of death.
And the Swan will swim again,
Peacefully in their Lake.
For you will be long gone,
In black smoke.
Oh sickle and hammer,
Shall be buried dead.
